ADMINISTRATION “ON-CALL”

The new National Labour Contract for administration businesses allows for temporary and "on-call" administration

A new step has been taken towards even more work relationship flexibility with the new article 51 of the agreement on CCNL renewal for administration companies that forecast experimentally, for tourism sectors, large-scale organised distribution, food logistics, agriculture, telecommunications and personal services, a fixed-term contract (lasting no less than three months) with total hours - and corresponding economic compensation - minimum guaranteed (equal to 20% of full time) in favour of the worker and the possibility for the employer to call the employee to work, with 24hours notice, only in the case of actual need.

The worker, without being paid for all hours for which they make themselves available to the employer, need to respond to this call within one of the following time slots: 6-14, 14-22, 22-6.

In the case of unjustified refusal to carry out the required activity the employer can sanction disciplinarily and drop the guaranteed minimum compensation.

Hours completed in addition are compensated for normally, without increases. If within the course of six months additional hours exceed an average of 20% of the total minimal hours guaranteed, this is increased by 10%.
