On the 26th and 27th of October, at the Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Abogados, the 3rd International Congress of Euro Latam Lex International Law firm Network (ELLEX), was held, entitled “Digital Security, Rights and Liberties”.

ELLEX (whose co-chair is Benita Ferrero-Waldner, former Foreign Minister of Austria and European Commissioner) is an international organization of independent lawyers, whose objective is to foster legal, economic, political and social relations between Europe (in particular Central and Eastern) and Latin America.

Enzo Pisa, Fabiana Menichetti and Mirco Broggiato of the Menichetti Law Firm which for over 40 years has been dealing with labour law, trade unions and security law, not to mention commercial distribution contracts, also internationally, with offices in Verona, Milano, Trento and Bolzano, participated in the Congress.

It comprised of 2 days of interesting debate, in which participated prestigious representatives of the legal world, of international politics (including Javier Solana, former Secretary General of NATO and High Representative of European Union Foreign Policy to the United Nations, and Enrique Iglesias, former President of the Central Bank of Uruguay and the Uruguayan Minister or Foreign Affairs) and of business, to discuss the opportunities and problems of the so-called new economy.

The deep-rooted awareness of Menichetti Law Firm’s lawyers, not just those who participated in the event in Madrid, is that nowadays it is necessary to provide clients with legal assistance capable of adapting to the rapid evolution of the political system and economic models in which they operate, an objective which can be achieved if we look at the development of socio-economic phenomenon at an international level, creating synergies between colleagues of different countries, via the exchange of competencies and professional experience.
